Princewill Ejiro-Oghene Ahante

Princewill Ahante is a BBC-trained multimedia journalist, researcher and disability advocate passionate about storytelling that drives social change.

He is currently a service design intern at Alzheimer’s Society, where he is working on projects that improve services for people affected by dementia. Previously, he worked at the BBC, developing original stories and producing digital content that resonated with diverse audiences.

Before that, Princewill served as special assistant to the Governor of Kaduna State, reporting on key government programmes and championing disability inclusion at the highest levels of state government. His grassroots advocacy, shaped by lived experience, earned recognition from the Isolo Local Council and the King of Isolo in Lagos State.

His work cuts across media, public policy and human rights, with a focus on amplifying the voices of underrepresented people and communities. In 2024, Princewill contributed to a film project with the Global Disability Innovation Hub, promoting authentic representation of disabled people in research. He is committed to influencing inclusive policies and practices that ensure equal access for all.

Princewill holds a master’s degree with distinction in Advertising, Branding and Communication from the University of West London and a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Oduduwa University.

He is a Salzburg Global Public Policy New Voices Europe Fellow and a Member of the Disabled Leaders Network. Outside work, he enjoys art, football, cycling and connecting with people from around the world.
