(She/her) 2025

Hello! I’m Charlotte, a neurospicy UX/UI designer, passionate about inclusive design and web accessibility. Whilst working at a digital agency for almost three years, I was exposed to the internal politics behind web accessibility and the frustrations presented around compliance.

I met developers who found web guidelines frustrating, designers who were more focused on the feel of the work than inclusion, and stakeholders who due to time and budget constraints didn’t have the resources to make space for ensuring people with disabilities could be consulted about design. I want to help change the web accessibility landscape and move the status quo from compliance to inclusion and acceptance. I’m particularly interested in the topic of designing for neurodiversity and how design trends such as minimalism or abstractly bold design can impact usability for those who struggle with executive dysfunction.

I’m excited to be a part of the DLN and make great connections, where we can advocate for disability rights together.
