(She/her) 2025
As a Deaf spatial practitioner, I wear two cochlear implants and use British Sign Language (BSL) to communicate. In 2024, I graduated with an MA in Interior Design from the Royal College of Art, where I was honoured to receive the School of Architecture Image Prize for my project, “Exploring the Notion of ‘Home’ Through the Deaf Community.” This visual storytelling project explores my Deaf identity through the movement of cochlear implants and the experience of silence when they are not worn. It includes a handmade book documenting my research and personal experiences, aimed at inspiring understanding and appreciation for diverse identities. You can explore the project online to learn more.
This year, I founded Echo Vision, an E-Design service specialising in virtual interior design and design blogs. I am passionate about creating innovative, inclusive and transformative spaces. My design blogs showcase my attention to detail, reflection and critical thinking, enabling me to explore and drive positive change in the world. I am committed to reducing barriers, helping people experience equality, access education and promote inclusion. Through my work, I aim to champion awareness and advocacy, ensuring that everyone has a voice and equal opportunities.
