(She/her) 2025
I am a disability rights advocate, a Chevening Scholar and one of the 2024 recipients of the Diana Award. Currently, I’m pursuing an MSc in Disability, Design, and Innovation at University College London (UCL). My advocacy journey began at the age of 15 when I volunteered with local Disabled People’s Organizations (DPOs), and over the years, I’ve had the privilege of representing India on global platforms, including the UN and the C20 Summit. As a wheelchair user, I am deeply passionate about creating inclusive spaces for people with disabilities, especially in the built environment.
In 2020, I began raising awareness about disability rights through creative content on social media, blending humor, storytelling, and poetry. My work has reached over 100,000 people, and I’ve been featured by public figures like Varun Grover and Prajakta Koli. In addition to my work in content creation, I founded Namastey Disability, a virtual support network for individuals with disabilities, and I also serve as the Chief Operating Officer at Chronic Pain India.
I joined the Disability Leadership Network (DLN) to further enhance my leadership skills, collaborate with like-minded individuals, and drive positive change for people with disabilities globally. Through my experiences and studies, I aim to advocate for more inclusive and accessible policies and environments that empower individuals with disabilities.
