Isobel is a musical director who is passionate about access to music and theatre. She is currently studying for an MA in Music Direction at Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts and recently completed her BA in Music at the University of Oxford, St Catherine’s College.

She gained experience through student theatre, working on youth productions, and volunteering for community music projects. She organised workshops with industry leaders to demystify careers in theatre and encourage the development of inclusive, professional practice in student-run rehearsal rooms. 

Isobel is keen to raise awareness of invisible disabilities and to reduce the stigma surrounding gastrointestinal conditions and ostomy surgery. She hopes to utilise her experiences to advocate for access to education and artistic expression, particularly for young people impacted by serious illness and disability. She aspires to increase representation of women and Disabled people amongst musicians and creatives working in theatre, and for that representation to be reflected in the stories that are being told on stage
