(She/her) 2021
Isabelle is a researcher and educator currently undertaking a PhD in American politics. A wheelchair user for almost a decade, her education has been impacted by her disability and she strives to undertake change in her community and wider sector to improve access for disabled and neurodivergent students. This has included university-level policy work, appearances on television and radio, and contributing to the Snowdon Trust’s lived experience panel. Her ultimate goal is to improve access for disabled researchers at a PGR and postdoctoral level to narrow the disability gap in academia and provide more role models for disabled students pursuing research and teaching roles.
