Getting into Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI)

Producing Accessible Events

Join the Disabled Leaders Network for a session on accessible events – as we hear from our member’s on an exciting new resource to support the delivery of inclusive events. Throughout the last couple of months, the DLN has been working hard behind the scenes to create a series of toolkits – sharing tips and tricks, best practices and helpful advice for anyone who is wanting to make their spaces more accessible. This event will enable members and our wider community to have a sneak peak at this emerging resource, to feedback and add input. This event will have closed captions and BSL.



Getting Into Creative Industries with Open Style Lab and Diverse Made Media

Join the Disabled Leaders Network for a session on pursuing a career in the creative industries and overcoming barriers to participation. We will be joined by speakers Yasmin Keats, Executive Director of Open Style Lab, & Chris Lynch, Founder of Diverse Made Media. They will be speaking about their own journeys, innovating in spaces where disabled people may face high barriers to participation, and routes to becoming leaders in creative sectors. This would be an excellent session for anyone looking to pursue a creative career or to learn how their non-creative skills might be adapted to a career in this space, or to anyone looking for ideas on how to innovate to enable better inclusivity and participation even beyond creative spaces.
